Hi! I’m Dr Kelly Watt

I graduated medicine at UQ in 2005, and I gained clinical experience in hospitals in Cairns, Townsville, Mount Isa and Sydney. I have enjoyed pursuing additional education and training in women’s and children’s health, academic research and medical education, publishing several research papers and have completed a Master’s of International Health.

I completed my GP specialist training in Western Sydney and feel very fortunate to have worked in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Sector for a number of years.

I am interested in all aspects of General Practice and have a particular interest in supporting patients through chronic and complex disease management for their physical and mental health. I am able to support patients through all aspects of family planning including insertion of IUDs (including Mirena and copper IUDs) and Implanon. I am also able to perform iron transfusions when medically indicated.
